# Disable Shopify's CAPI

## How to Disable Shopify's Native Facebook Pixel and Conversions API (CAPI)

To avoid duplicated events when integrating our platform, please disable Shopify's native Facebook Pixel and Conversions API (CAPI). Follow the steps below.

#### Step 1: Access Shopify Admin

Log into your Shopify store and access your Shopify admin dashboard.

#### Step 2: Navigate to Online Store Preferences

* From the Shopify admin sidebar, click **Sales Channel**.
* Then, select **Facebook & Instagram**.

#### Step 3: Select Settings Inside Facebook Channel

* Select the **Settings** Tab inside the Facebook channel.
* Locate the **Share Data** card and click **Change**.

#### Step 4: Disable Data Sharing Settings

* Turn off data sharing.

#### Step 5: Save Changes

* Click **Save** to confirm your updates.
